Presentation of Uzbek-Language ‘IRS-Heritage’ Magazine in Tashkent


Tashkent:The Uzbek-language edition of ‘IRS-Heritage’ magazine was unveiled at the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Centre in Tashkent, associated with Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Uzbekistan.



According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Uzbekistan Rashad Mammadov addressed the event, speaking about the longstanding friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. He emphasized the continuous development of bilateral relations grounded in shared history, cultural heritage, and common values.



The ambassador expressed that the new edition of ‘IRS-Heritage’ aims to introduce Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage to Uzbek readers, fostering friendship, mutual understanding, and expanding cultural cooperation between the two nations.



Akif Marifli, Director of the Heydar Aliyev Azerbaijan Cultural Centre, remarked that the publication would promote shared cultural values, encourage literary and academic exchanges, and strengthen ties between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.



Musa Marjanli, the author of the publication, discussed the history of the ‘IRS’ international magazine, its development stages, and international activities. He stressed the significance of the Uzbek-language edition and thanked the Azerbaijani Embassy in Uzbekistan, the Heydar Aliyev Azerbaijan Cultural Centre, and all partners involved for their support in the publication’s preparation and presentation ceremony.
