Baku:The 14th International Acoustic Engineering Forum (MAIF) has commenced, bringing together experts in acoustics, along with architects, designers, and construction industry representatives from over 15 countries.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the forum is concentrating on contemporary methods in acoustic design for various facilities, addressing noise and vibration protection in buildings, sound insulation, and ensuring acoustic comfort.
The forum’s program highlights current challenges in the field of architectural and building acoustics. On October 9, a partner-dealer conference will take place in a roundtable format, where participants will discuss new engineering solutions for sound and vibration insulation, certification issues, and the challenges of applying these technologies in local markets.
