Baku: Kyrgyzstan is ready to continue its participation in the reconstruction efforts carried out in Karabakh, Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services Nurdan Oruntayev, said in a statement to APA. ‘Last year, on the instructions of respected President Sadyr Japarov, a new modern school was built in the territories liberated from occupation. In the future, we are also ready to consider other projects,’ he noted. The head of the Kyrgyz delegation stated that Azerbaijan’s experience is of great importance for them. He particularly emphasized that the reconstruction and construction projects being implemented in the liberated territories are being closely monitored.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the minister highlighted the WUF13 forum held in Azerbaijan as an important platform for the exchange of experience among participants. ‘The forum is being held at a very good level. The event has been organized at the highest level. Today, all participants here have the opportunity to exchange experience in the fields of construction and urban planning,’ the minister said. He noted that the Kyrgyzstan pavilion has attracted great interest from forum participants. The pavilion presents a waste recycling plant, a large healthcare complex and residential projects being implemented in Bishkek.
Speaking about Azerbaijan’s experience in urban planning and construction, the head of the delegation stated that the fact that Baku and Bishkek are located in similar seismic zones is of particular importance for cooperation. ‘A number of modern projects have already been implemented in Azerbaijan. Like Bishkek, Baku is also located in an 8-9 magnitude seismic zone. Therefore, Azerbaijan’s experience in seismic construction is very important for us.’
