The Association of Oil Traders of Kyrgyzstan is extremely concerned about the current situation related to the transit of fuel and lubricants by rail through Kazakhstan. Official message of the Association says.
Since September 1, Kazakhstan Temir Zholy company, without official notification of the participants of the transportation process, ceased to coordinate monthly and additional plans for transportation of transit cargoes of fuels and lubricants for unknown reasons.
«Domestic oil trading companies together with Kyrgyz Temir Zholy are trying to solve the problem independently. But to date almost all announced plans for October are rejected by Kazakhstan Temir Zholy. The problem with transit through the territory of Kazakhstan may lead to a shortage of fuel and lubricants in the fuel market of the Kyrgyz Republic in 20 days. This issue should be settled at the intergovernmental level between the two countries,» the Association of Oil Traders believes.
