The excavation works of the first production well in the “Azeri Central East” (ACE), built in the “Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli” (ACG) oil and gas field block located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, are almost completed, said Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli, Vice President Caspian Region at bp in his statements to journalists, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, excavating 3 production wells on ACE platform in this year is planned and excavation process of the first one is almost nearing its end.
‘The first one is almost over and the first oil from the first well will probably be extracted in the first quarter. We will announce it,’ Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli noted.
