Azerbaijan’s Shusha Hosts International Children’s Creativity Festival Showcasing Turkic Unity


Shusha: The international children’s creativity festival titled ‘Shusha – the Cultural Gem of Turkic Unity’ took place in Shusha, organized by the Ministry of Science and Education, as reported by APA’s local bureau. The event, held on June 1, saw participation from nearly 300 schoolchildren representing Azerbaijan, Trkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and Hungary, each presenting the rich music and dance traditions of their countries.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the festival symbolizes the unity of Turkic-speaking peoples and was attended by various prominent figures, including Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, renowned cultural and art personalities, schoolchildren, and children of martyrs. The festival aims to familiarize children from Turkic-speaking nations with each other’s national customs and traditions, fostering friendship, brotherhood, and mutual cooperation. It also provides a platform for participants to proudly represent their countries’ history and culture while showcasing the captivating beauty of Shusha.



The creativity festival, titled “Shusha – the Cultural Jewel of Turkic Unity,” was organized to strengthen the connections among Turkic-speaking nations and to celebrate the vibrant cultural heritage shared by these countries. The event not only highlights the cultural diversity of the participating nations but also promotes Shusha as a cultural hub, enhancing its reputation on an international level.
