Baku:Azerbaijan’s Commissioner for Human Rights, Sabina Aliyeva, held a meeting with Dmytro Lubinets, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights. The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in the protection of human rights and freedoms.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Aliyeva briefed Lubinets on her activities aimed at strengthening international collaboration in human rights protection. She expressed satisfaction with the ongoing partnership between the Azerbaijani and Ukrainian ombuds institutions and discussed ways to further bolster human rights protections under current circumstances.
The Azerbaijani Ombudsman emphasized the importance of continued collaboration among ombuds institutions to safeguard human rights. Lubinets expressed gratitude for the hospitality extended by Aliyeva and underscored the significance of exchanging knowledge between rights bodies to advance human rights.
The meeting also included discussions on other mutual interests between the two parties.
