Azerbaijan and Turkey Strengthen Social Protection Cooperation


Baku:A meeting was held at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population in Azerbaijan with a delegation led by Turkish Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security, Adnan Ertem.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev highlighted the brotherhood and strategic alliance between Azerbaijan and Turkey. He noted the ongoing development and expansion of cooperation in labor and social protection between the two nations. Aliyev also provided information on recent social reforms in Azerbaijan, carried out under President Ilham Aliyev’s directives, and emphasized the successful collaboration with Turkey’s Ministry of Labor and Social Security in this regard.



The importance of the Joint Standing Commission’s work between the two ministries to enhance cooperation in labor and social protection was underscored. Regular contacts and mutual visits were noted as significant contributions to strengthening relations. Adnan Ertem expressed satisfaction with the continuous growth and expansion of cooperation and highlighted the importance of experience exchange.



The meeting focused on the cooperation agenda between the two ministries and discussed issues related to strengthening ties in social protection.
