Vagif Khachatryan, who was accused of committing genocide in Meshali village of Azerbaijan’s Khojaly district as part of illegal Armenian armed groups, filed an appeal against the sentence, APA reports.
In the process presided over by judge Hasan Ahmadov at the Baku Court of Appeals, the questionnaire information of the accused and the evidence of the appeal complaint were examined.
The trial of the case is scheduled for January 7, 2024.
