Foreign Diplomats Visit Lachin District to Observe Reconstruction Projects


Lachin: Representatives of the diplomatic corps are on a visit to the Lachin District, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Karabakh reports. The delegation observed the nature of the district on the banks of the Hakari River and took a commemorative photo.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, familiarization of the diplomatic corps with reconstruction and economic development projects in Karabakh and East Zangezur continues. On the second day of the visit organized to the Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions, participants set off for Lachin District.



Within the framework of the visit, it is planned to familiarize themselves with the activities of sewing, furniture, and footwear factories, essential oils production, and livestock enterprises operating in the ‘Zerti Agro-Industrial Park’ located in the city of Lachin, as well as greenhouse and nursery complexes. A visit by the diplomats to the ‘Lachin’ Recreation Complex is also planned.



Note that this visit is the 21st visit of diplomatic corps representatives to the territories liberated from occupation. Such visits are of great importance in forming an objective understanding of the scale of the projects implemented and the results achieved in the liberated territories.
