In January-November 2023, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and India amounted to 1 billion USD 107.9 million, APA-Economics reports citing State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
Volume of this indicator decreased by 40% or USD 751.1 million compared to the corresponding period of 2022. Thus, in January-November 2022, the volume of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and India was USD 1 billion 859.1 million.
During the reporting period, the volume of exports from Azerbaijan to India decreased by 44.4% to USD 924.5 million, and the volume of exports from India to Azerbaijan decreased by 6.7% to USD 183.4 million.
Noted that India ranks third among the countries to which Azerbaijan exports crude oil.

Persons suspected of participation in the terrorist attack in the city of Kerman were detained by Iranian law enforcement agencies, the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement, Trend reports.
It is reported that significant evidence related to this crime was discovered and several individuals were detained. Full information about the suspects will be provided later.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that the terrorist attack killed 89 people, of whom 12 were citizens of Afghanistan.
Two explosions occurred in Iran’s Kerman on January 3 during a procession commemorating the anniversary of the death of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani. The explosions resulted in the loss of 84 lives.
Qasem Soleimani was killed in a US Air Force airstrike in Iraq in 2020.
