Heightened monitoring of school graduates is implemented in Talas region, regional police department said. Law enforcement officials will be actively involved in maintaining road safety and public order during the graduation ceremonies of ninth and eleventh graders. In order to prevent various offenses, such as illegal street races, car accidents, drunk driving, an increased number of checkpoints have been established throughout the region. Moreover, a thorough inspection was conducted in over 10 cafes and restaurants within Talas town, while close supervision has been placed upon the central park and sports fields. These measures aim to prevent accidents involving graduates during celebration of their graduation.
