Baku: Relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine have entered a new stage in recent years, with increased focus on humanitarian cooperation. This strategic approach stems from Azerbaijan’s state policy, as the country, having historically suffered from conflicts, considers it a moral duty to support peoples in similar situations.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Member of the Milli Majlis Vugar Iskandarov emphasized Azerbaijan’s deep understanding of the humanitarian consequences of war, given its own challenges with territorial integrity. Consequently, Azerbaijan extends humanitarian assistance to various regions, including Ukraine, which encompasses material support as well as social and psychological aid.
