President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will chair the 16th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in Tashkent on November 8-9, UzA reports. The event will be attended by the heads of state and governments of Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Trkiye. The participants will consider issues of further enhancing trade, economic, investment, transport, communications, and humanitarian cooperation within the ECO and improving the activities of this multilateral structure. The leader of Uzbekistan will also hold several bilateral meetings.
