Baku: The State Migration Service has addressed foreigners and stateless individuals with extended temporary stays in Azerbaijan, as communicated by the Migration Service to APA.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, foreigners and stateless persons who have been in Azerbaijan since March 24, 2020, and whose temporary stay was extended by the State Migration Service due to the inability to leave the country amid the COVID-19 pandemic, must take specific actions. These individuals, whose presence in the country is deemed legal, are required to apply for a temporary residence permit by July 31, 2025, if they meet one of the criteria outlined in Article 45 of the Migration Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Alternatively, they must make arrangements to leave the country.
