Baku: As of July 1, 2025, the foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) amounted to USD 11 billion 153.9 million.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this figure represents an increase of 0.5% or 59.3 million US dollars compared to the previous month. Despite this monthly growth, it is noted that the CBA’s foreign exchange reserves have seen a decrease of 5% or 583.7 million US dollars compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
The fluctuation in foreign exchange reserves highlights ongoing economic adjustments as the CBA continues to manage its monetary policies. The comparison with the previous year’s figures indicates a significant decrease, which may reflect broader economic challenges or shifts in currency management strategies.
