The so-called “presidential elections” in Khankendi have no legal basis, Council of Europe Secretary General Marija Pejcinovic Buric wrote on the X social network, APA reports.
She noted that the humanitarian situation in the region and respect for international standards are essential: “The European Council calls on all parties to reduce tension, engage in dialogue and restore peace. The Council of Europe is ready to support.”
