Baku: The SIMA digital signature has emerged as the primary digital assistant for taxpayers, providing the most cost-effective and secure access to the Internet Tax Administration. Recent digital ecosystem changes by the State Tax Service have led to the discontinuation of the e-taxes.gov.az portal, with all electronic tax services now consolidated under the new.e-taxes.gov.az platform. A significant feature of this new portal is its compatibility with ‘SIMA Imza’.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the SIMA digital signature currently supports access to all major tax services on the platform. Users can conveniently download the ‘SIMA Imza’ mobile application, register, and instantly obtain a business signature, granting them access to over 100 services. The app also offers a promotional code, 6AYPULSUZ, allowing users to use the electronic signature free of charge for the first six months. Following this period, users have the option to renew their subscription at 2.40 AZN per month, 25 AZN per year, or 55 AZN for three years, with no additional fees or hidden charges.
Launched in 2022 by AzInTelecom, a company under AZCON Holding, SIMA represents a new-generation digital signature technology. The ‘SIMA Imza’ app, which has been downloaded over 6 million times, enables users to obtain a digital signature through the mobile app without needing to visit a service center or use any physical device.
