President Serdar Berdimuhamedov replaced a number of officials during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on July 14 on results of the government’s work for the first half of the year, reports Chronicles of Turkmenistan.
The head of state explained all the layoffs by “shortcomings in the work” without further details.
Khadzhimuhammet Rejepmyradov was dismissed from the post of Minister of Energy. His deputy Annageldi Saparov became the new head of the Ministry.
Head of the state concern Trkmenhimiýa Nyyazly Nyyazlyev has been dismissed. Dovrangeldi Sapbaev, who previously worked as the director of the Akhal plant for the production of gasoline from natural gas, became the new chairman of Trkmenhimiýa.
Chairman of the State Exchange Begench Charyev dismissed. He was replaced by chairman of the State Migration Service Batyr Volsakhatov. Deputy head of the department A.Sazakova will temporarily act as the head of the Migration Service.
Gulmyrat Agamyradov has been removed from the post of chairman of the State Physical Culture and Sports Committee. A. Saparov, who previously worked as the rector of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports, was appointed to this post. Vice-rector for scientific work H. Nunnaev became the rector of the university.
The Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection Allanur Altyev was fired. The department was divided into the Ministry of Agriculture, headed by Nazarmyrat Nazarmyradov, and the Ministry of Environmental Protection, headed by Charygeldi Babanyazov.
In addition, the president appointed vice-rectors of the Aba Annaev International Academy of Horse Breeding (opened in the new city of Arkadag): S. Ataev for academic work, and M. Piriyev for scientific work.
B.Rejepov was appointed Vice-President of the International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding and the International Association Trkmen alabaý itleri.
