President Sadyr Zhaparov received visiting Chief Ombudsman of the Republic of Turkiye Sheref Malkoch, the press service of the head of state.
The sides exchanged views on the issues of intensifying bilateral cooperation in the field of human rights protection on the basis of generally recognized principles and norms of international law.
The President appreciated Sheref Malkoch’s intention during his visit to Kyrgyzstan to establish contacts between the ombudsman institutions of the two countries and exchange experience.
Sadyr Zhaparov noted that strategic cooperation and fraternal relations between Kyrgyzstan and Turkiye are growing stronger every day, and expressed confidence that Sheref Malkoch’s rich experience in public service will make a significant contribution to further strengthening bilateral cooperation.
In turn, the Chief Ombudsman of Turkey thanked Sadyr Zhaparov for his hospitality and conveyed greetings from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
He noted the dynamically developing bilateral relations based on brotherhood and stressed the need to strengthen partnership in the field of human rights protection.
Sheref Malkoch, having informed about the memorandum signed during the visit on expanding cooperation between the ombudsmen of the two countries, expressed readiness for close cooperation with Kyrgyz colleagues through mutual visits and exchange of experience.
