“Armenia continues to strengthen its position in the political sphere as an independent state with a clear course towards international cooperation. The country actively develops relations with various countries, seeking to strengthen its positions both in the post-Soviet space and in Europe. Turkmenistan is an important partner of Armenia, with which close and friendly relations have been established.
One of the brightest examples is the planned visit of the president of Armenia to the International Forum of Heads of State and Government. This visit will be an important milestone in the bilateral relations be
tween Armenia and Turkmenistan and will allow discussing the prospects of further cooperation,” the ambassador said.
According to the official, in recent years, economic ties between Armenia and Turkmenistan have intensified.
“Despite the positive dynamics, this indicator still does not meet the needs and expectations of the parties, which indicates that there is significant potential for further development and deepening of cooperation,” he said.

“These meetings have helped identify key areas for joint projects in trade, science, and culture. An important milestone will be the 10th anniversary meeting of the commission, which is scheduled for spring 2025 and will be held in Yerevan,” Kharazyan added.
The ambassador concluded that this visit is expected to give a new impetus to bilateral relations and open new horizons for cooperation between th
e countries.
