Baku: Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia will cooperate in the field of plant protection and quarantine, APA reports. The President Ilham Aliyev has signed the law on the approval of the “Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Plant Protection and Quarantine between the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia”.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the law enacts the “Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Plant Protection and Quarantine between the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia”.
Additionally, President Ilham Aliyev approved the “Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the General Directorate of Transport of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This memorandum pertains to the mutual recognition of certificates in accordance with regulation I/10 of the “International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978” (with annexes), signed in Riyadh on April 28, 2025.
