Jalilabad: Thanks to the necessary and urgent measures taken by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire that broke out in the mountainous area in the direction of the village of Zopun in the Jalilabad region was localized and prevented from spreading to a wide area.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about a fire in a mountainous area in the direction of the village of Zopun in the Jalilabad district, and the Ministry’s forces were immediately deployed to the area, the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ Press Service informed APA.
To prevent the fire from spreading to a wider area and to accelerate extinguishing efforts, two helicopters from the Aviation Unit, as well as forces from the State Fire Protection Service and the Special Risk Rescue Service, were dispatched to the area. Firefighting efforts are currently ongoing, and measures are in place to completely extinguish the blaze.
Efforts to extinguish the fire in the mountainous area near Zopun village in the Jalilabad district continue, APA’s local bureau reports. Forces from the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have been deployed to the area and are taking measures to prevent the fire from spreading and to extinguish it.
It is reported that one person has been poisoned by smoke in the affected area, and an ambulance team has been dispatched to the site. A wildfire has broken out in the mountainous area near Zopun village of the Jalilabad district, APA reports, citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
The Ministry’s ‘112’ hotline received information about the incident, prompting the immediate dispatch of firefighting crews from the State Fire Protection Service to the site. Efforts are currently underway to contain the spread and extinguish the fire. However, strong winds are complicating the firefighting operations.
