Baku:President Ilham Aliyev has attributed the stable development of Azerbaijan to the societal harmony present within the nation. This statement was made during his address at the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the longstanding traditions of multiculturalism, religious, and ethnic tolerance as foundational elements that have been vital throughout Azerbaijan’s history. He noted that these traditions are highly valued by the people of Azerbaijan.
The president further articulated that a significant factor in the nation’s success is the equitable treatment of all ethnic groups and religions, as enshrined in the Azerbaijani Constitution. He highlighted that individuals from diverse backgrounds not only enjoy equal rights but also coexist peacefully, akin to living as one family.
