Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev emphasized the high value placed on the congratulatory letter from U.S. President Donald Trump, while receiving Steve Daines, member of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, on May 29, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Ilham Aliyev noted that the letter highlighted the substantial opportunities for further developing security, energy, and economic ties between Azerbaijan and the United States. The President also acknowledged and appreciated the attention given to fostering relations with Azerbaijan during President Trump’s first term.
