Baku:Passenger transportation by ferries in Azerbaijan has seen a notable increase of 14% during the first nine months of 2026. The ferries, operated by ASCO, a company under AZCON Holding, transported a total of 21,939 passengers.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, this marks a significant rise compared to the same period last year, when 19,289 passengers were ferried.
In September 2026 alone, ASCO’s ferries transported 2,907 passengers, representing a 40% increase from the 2,076 passengers transported in September 2025.
