Baku: The Gala Night of the ‘X?ms?’ (Khamsa) unity competition, traditionally an annual event aimed at enhancing synergy among employees of PASHA Group companies, has concluded with Kapital Bank emerging as a notable winner. Organized by PASHA Holding and Kapital Bank, this event is recognized as the largest corporate milestone that evaluates the alignment and contribution of projects within PASHA Holding and its strategic assets to five key corporate values: ‘Integrity,’ ‘Entrepreneurial Spirit,’ ‘Quality,’ ‘Collaboration,’ and ‘Profitability.’
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the opening address at the Gala Night, held on October 30, 2025, was delivered by PASHA Holding’s CEO, Jalal Gasimov. Kapital Bank secured victory with two distinguished projects in this year’s competition. The ‘360 Intranet Portal’ project, which enhances internal communication among employees, won in the ‘Collaboration’ category, while the ‘Innovative Transformation in Customer Complaints Management’ project was recognized in the ‘Quality’ category. The internal group voting results also saw PASHA Bank, PASHA Insurance, and PASHA Life Insurance securing multiple project victories.
A highlight of the event was a notable statement from Farid Huseynov, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Kapital Bank. While announcing the winners for the ‘Profitability’ category, he remarked, “Profitability is every CEO’s favorite word. But everything is complete when all our values – ‘Integrity’, ‘Entrepreneurial Spirit’, ‘Quality’, ‘Collaboration’, and ‘Profitability’ – are present together.”
The competition involved teams presenting projects from the previous year to a jury that included PASHA Holding and strategic asset executives. Projects garnering the most votes through an open group voting process were declared winners.
