Baku: Deputy Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Samad Bashirli met with President of the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium (FEB) and CEO of FIB Belgium Ren© Branders. The meeting underscored Azerbaijan’s significance for Belgium and the potential for economic cooperation, focusing on trade, industry, energy, transport, and other sectors. High-level discussions and reciprocal visits were deemed essential for strengthening ties and expanding mutual cooperation.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Belgian investors were encouraged to actively engage in projects being implemented in Azerbaijan. The discussions also covered the priorities of economic relations between the two countries, the execution of joint investment initiatives, and the possible organization of export missions.
The FEB, being the largest employers’ organization in Belgium, represents over 50,000 companies and accounts for 75 percent of private sector employment. It is committed to promoting sustainable development, social well-being, and good governance.
