Import of electric cars by Uzbekistan grew 6 times, the Ministry of Energy said. Uzbekistan imported 7,391 electric cars for $217.1 million in 7 months of 2023. 1,307 electric cars were imported from China by Uzbekistan in 7 months of 2022. Uzbekistan imported cars from China (6,898), Hong Kong (376), Germany (64) South Korea (18), UAE (16), United States (11). Kyrgyzstan imported 3,027 electric cars from China in 7 months of 2023. Import grew 7 times compared to 2022.
