Baku:A panel session focused on the business model and investment opportunities for the Green Energy Corridor project was held during the Green Energy Corridor From Feasibility Study to Implementation Forum. This session was moderated by Andrea Meola, Global Markets and Business Development Director at CESI.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussion included key figures such as Elmir Musayev, General Director of SOCAR Green; James Humfrey, CEO of Xlinks; Michele Vadora, Managing Director of Zhero; and Mohammed Atif, Area Manager at AFRY-DNV Global. They exchanged views on the proposed commercial model for the Green Energy Corridor, detailing the project’s governance structure, ownership and participation mechanisms, and development roadmap.
The panel also addressed the critical role of the private sector in implementing large-scale energy infrastructure projects. The discussions aimed at enhancing investment attractiveness and ensuring the long-term commercial viability of the Green Energy Corridor, highlighting opportunities for strategic equity partners.
