“We have great hope that Azerbaijan and Armenia will sign the peace agreement,” Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili said in a statement to the press after a one-on-one meeting with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.
“We believe that peace in our region will serve the well-being of our people,” he said.
Mr Garibashvili noted that today, Georgia is ready to mediate in this matter and offer a friendly format: “Both countries of the South Caucasus should resolve their issues.”
