Ankara: “We believe that the resolution of the inevitable issues related to the Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization process may be finalized in the coming months,” Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov told APA’s bureau in Trkiye.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, important events related to the normalization process have taken place recently. ‘The Washington summit is particularly noteworthy. In August last year, the President of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia signed a joint statement. That document was also witnessed by US President Donald Trump. At the same time, the peace agreement was initialed and an appeal was signed to dissolve the Minsk Group. In general, these steps determined the roadmap for the next stage of the Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization process.
After that, President Ilham Aliyev stated at an official ceremony held at the White House that peace for Azerbaijan has now become a reality. The steps taken in the subsequent period also confirmed this approach. This is not just a political statement, but a position reflecting Azerbaijan’s strategic vision.
