5th Deep Learning summer school in Ulaanbaatar was held on June 26-30. It was supported by AND Global. This year the course offered a combination of lectures and seminars on generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM). The training was conducted by leading scientists and researchers from Google, Meta (Facebook), Home Depot, AND Global and the United Nations University Institute. Local experts were trained on how the ChatGPT model was developed in Mongolian. About 120 experts participated in this year’s training and jointly developed ChatGPT in Mongolian within 5 days. AND Global, which supports the domestic artificial intelligence and deep learning industry, introduced its AI-based technology solution NIKO AutoML to the international market this May. It is currently being piloted by more than 10 banks, non-banking financial institutions, insurance companies and e-commerce organizations in Thailand, Cambodia, Japan and Mongolia.
