Certificates Awarded to Graduates of APA Journalism School


Baku: A ceremony was held to present certificates to the next graduates of the APA Journalism School, a project of “APA Media Group”. The head of the “APA Journalist School,” Qabil Abbasoglu, congratulated the graduates, expressing his sincere congratulations on the upcoming National Press Day and gratitude to the trainers who participated in the training.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Rashad Majid, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Press Council, praised the role of the APA Journalism School in nurturing future journalists, asserting that graduates will dedicate their lives to journalism. He emphasized the credibility of APA’s news and expressed pride in the talented young journalists emerging from the school.



Vusala Mahirgizi, General Director of APA Media Group, highlighted the success of previous graduates, noting that more than 15 graduates from the first training are already working in the media field. She announced plans for the third training, set to begin in September, which will include international partners and cover various areas of media.



Nurshan Guliyev, Editor-in-Chief of APA Media Group, celebrated the successful results of the school, emphasizing the importance of practical journalism skills and the sustainable operation of the school. Almaz Mahmud, an instructor at the school, underscored the importance of such institutions in combating disinformation and promoting professional journalism.



Publicist Ilgar Alfi shared insights into the responsibilities of journalism, encouraging young journalists to learn about life and people. Journalist Ramila Gurbanli reflected on APA’s longstanding role as a journalism school and expressed hopes for its continued growth and influence on future media landscapes.



Writer-publicist Bahaddin Hazi congratulated the graduates, emphasizing the importance of unity and collaboration in the media industry. Journalist Afag Vasifqizi highlighted the brand recognition and honor associated with being an APA Journalism School graduate.



Shamil Pashayev, a lawyer and instructor, emphasized the comprehensive training provided at the school, including discussions on the code of ethics. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates to the graduates, marking the end of the three-month training program.
