Dusseldorf: From 13 to 17 April 2026, the Tube 2026 exhibition, a prominent international event in the tube industry, took place in Dusseldorf, Germany. Azerbaijan was represented by Baku Steel Company CJSC (BSC) as the country’s sole national participant.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, the BSC delegation engaged in several business meetings with existing and potential customers from regions including the European Union, the United States, Central Asia, and the Middle East. These discussions resulted in agreements for partner visits to BSC’s production facilities, as well as technical visits to customers’ sites abroad. The meetings were pivotal in expanding BSC’s export footprint and enhancing its international business relations.
The company also engaged with leading equipment manufacturers to discuss prospective joint projects, long-term supply opportunities, and technological cooperation. A significant outcome of the event was BSC’s official invitation to join the International Tube Association (ITA), highlighting the company’s active role in international markets and its alignment with global standards.
The Tube exhibition, held biennially since 1988, featured participation from over 1,100 companies across more than 40 countries in 2026, showcasing a variety of solutions for the tube industry.
In 2024, BSC achieved API (American Petroleum Institute) certification and began exporting tube products to the United States and European Union markets. This certification attests to the company’s compliance with the high quality and technical standards of the oil and gas industry, bolstering its competitive edge in international markets.
