Baku: A conceptual visual composition inspired by Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi’s quote “Come out of the circle of time and step into the circle of love” was presented after the official opening ceremony of the “OIC Cultural Festival: Baku Creative Week-2025.”
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the illustrative component of the project is based on the works of artist Leyla Aliyeva. Honored Artist Sabina Shikhlinskaya, who is also the founder of ‘Atesh Hub,’ is credited as the author of the visual concept, while Orkhan Aghayev, also known as DJ Pancho, composed the music for the presentation.
The subsequent segment of the artistic program included the performance of the Azerbaijani national dance ‘Yaylig.’ This dance was accompanied by musicians Ibrahim Babayev on the tar, Parviz Mammadov on the piano, and Vafadar Ramiz on percussion instruments.
The final artistic presentation of the opening ceremony was the composition ‘Shusha,’ created by Azerbaijani composer Kubra Karimli. The piece was performed by singer Aisel, whose real name is Aysel Mammadova, and was accompanied by balaban player Fagan Alasgarli.
