Azerbaijan’s 2026 State Budget Approved with 38.6 Billion Manat Revenue Projection


Baku: Azerbaijan has approved its state budget for 2026, outlining projected revenues of 38.6 billion manats and expenditures amounting to 41.7 billion manats. The draft law, titled “On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026,” was submitted for discussion at a session of the Milli Majlis, the national parliament.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the budget details include centralized revenues of 37.85 billion manats and local revenues of 758.3 million manats. On the expenditure side, centralized spending is set at 40.94 billion manats, with local spending projected to reach 759.1 million manats. The budget also sets the upper limit for internal state borrowing at 2 billion manats and external state borrowing at 6 billion manats. Additionally, state guarantees to be issued during the year are capped at 3 billion manats.



The draft budget outlines a state budget deficit of approximately 3.09 billion manats. Following discussions, the draft was put to a vote and successfully adopted in its first reading.
