Azerbaijan Resettles Families in Hasanriz and Vangli Villages of Aghdara


Aghdara: On November 20, the resettlement of families to the Hasanriz and Vangli villages of the Aghdara district took place, as reported by the Public Relations Department of the Reconstruction, Construction and Management Service in the city of Khankendi and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts to APA’s Karabakh bureau. Returning former internally displaced persons (IDPs) were given keys to their newly restored homes in both villages.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, at this stage, 23 families consisting of 93 people returned to Hasanriz village, while 4 families consisting of 11 people returned to Vangli village. During the ceremony in Hasanriz, Deputy Executive Director Mahmud Afandiyev presented the keys to the residents and affirmed that the village’s modern infrastructure is fully operational. He highlighted that water, gas, electricity, and internet services have been established to ensure the residents’ comfort and that full support for employment opportunities would be provided for those returning.



This resettlement has increased the total number of residents in Hasanriz village to 227 families, or 856 people. In Vangli village, 100 families comprising 385 people have now been settled. The resettlement convoy arrived in Hasanriz from Tartar, consisting of families previously residing in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings across the country. At this stage, 23 families (93 people) settled in Hasanriz village, and 4 families (11 people) relocated to Vangli village.
