Azerbaijani MFA: Pashinyan should support reintegration policy of Armenian residents of Garabagh to Azerbaijan

“It would be best for the Prime Minister of Armenia, who supposedly supports the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, to support the reintegration policy of the residents of Armenian origin living in the Garabagh region within the framework of the Azerbaijani legislation and refrain from interventions against the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan,” Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan noted on its commentary on the claims made by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, during his speech at the government meeting, APA reports.

“We’re hopeful that the Armenian side will correctly assess the realities formed in the region in the post-conflict period and will show a constructive position in the negotiations with Azerbaijan for establishing peace,” the statement stresses.
