“There are specific reason for the closure of our embassy in Iran: this is related to the terror attack on the Embassy, and the threat to people’s lives,” Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov said at a press conference on the results of 2023, APA reports.
“The expectation of the Azerbaijani side is that theperpetrator of this terror should be punished in the most strict manner and the security of our embassy should be fully ensured.. We were given dates regarding the start of the court proceedings, and of course, we will make further decisions depending on the outcome, and only then will the embassy be able to be restored,” the Minister noted.
