Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, who is on a working visit to Geneva, has met with the executive secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Tatiana Molcean, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.
The sides exchanged views on priority areas of cooperation between Azerbaijan and UNECE, steps taken to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), and sustainable socio-economic development of the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
Environmental terrorism, destruction as a result of the occupation, vast mine threats in the region committed by Armenia, as well as efforts to eliminate the complications of the occupation was highlighted at the meeting.
