‘A mechanism of medical waste disposal will be established in hospitals in liberated territories of Azerbaijan,’ said Nadir Zeynalov, Deputy Minister of Health of Azerbaijan during public hearing held on Medical waste management, APA reports.
He said that a new approach to medical waste in the world requires the neutralization of medical waste within the establishment: “New technologies must be installed in establishments for this. Disposal of medical waste will be 8 times cheaper if this model is applied. Use of this mechanism in the hospitals to be built in the liberated territories is planned.’
