Oil production in Azerbaijan in August 2023 amounted to 498 thousand b/d against the July figure at the level of 499 thousand b/d. According to the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan, in August 2023, daily oil production with condensate in Azerbaijan amounted to 620 thousand barrels (in July 621 thousand barrels), of which 498 thousand barrels accounted for oil production, condensate – 122 thousand barrels. By the end of 2023, Azerbaijan’s quota for oil production under the OPEC+ deal is 684 thousand b/d. Thus, in August, Azerbaijan fulfilled the OPEC+ deal by 137.3% or lagged behind the OPEC+ quota by 186 thousand b/s.
