A decision was made by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation to extradite Azerbaijani citizens Mahmud Ismayilov, son of Elman, Jeyhun Nasirov-Zibai, son of Ibrahim, and Azad Babashov, son of Vaqif to Baky at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan, the Office told APA.
Mahmud Ismayilov and Azad Babashov were suspected of having committed fraud by causing considerable damage, and Jeyhun Nasirov-Zibai had committed crimes of tax evasion. They were put on an international search because they fled the investigation and went into hiding after a decision was made to bring them in as accused persons.
Cited persons were brought to our country from Russian Federation with the accompaniment of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice’s special convoy.
