Baku: ‘During the mine-clearing operations across Tartar, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Lachin, Khojavand, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts, a total of 53 anti-personnel, 11 anti-tank mines, as well as 307 unexploded ordnances (UXO) were discovered and neutralized from December 18 to December 24,’ Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency said in a statement.
‘In this week-long effort, 487.7 hectares of territory have been successfully cleared of mines and UXOs,’ the agency added.
