A 3.9 magnitude earthquake was registered in Kuvasay city of Fergana region on Tuesday at 8:45 am, the Republican Seismic Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan said.
The depth was 15 km. The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent is 251 km in the southeast direction.
The earthquake was felt with a magnitude of 3 points in Kuvasay, 2-3 points in Ferghana, and from 2 to 3 points in other nearby areas.
