Yermek Kosherbaev appointed head of administration of East Kazakhstan region

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev dismissed Yermek Kosherbaev from the post of the ambassador to Russia, the presidential press service reported. Now Kosherbayev will hold the post of head of the administration of East Kazakhstan region. Ermek Kosherbaev was born in 1965. He graduated from the Diplomatic Academy of the USSR Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has been the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Russia since January 2020. It is not specified who will replace Kosherbaev in this post.
