Khankendi:As part of the international forum ‘SOCGOV 2026 Digital Analytics for Smart Governance,’ a ceremony was held in Khankendi to honor the winners of the ‘AI4DOST Social Award 2026’ competition.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the event began with a networking session and masterclasses on national heritage, providing guests with an interactive cultural and innovative experience. It also featured a visual presentation highlighting the reconstruction and development efforts in Garabagh, including Khankendi.
During the opening ceremony, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, Anar Aliyev, presented a symbolic carpet to Turkish Minister of Labour and Social Security, Vedat Isikhan. The carpet was created by the Social Artificial Intelligence DOST Agency (SAIDA), an AI solution of the DOST Agency.
The competition featured four international categories and three national individual nominations, attracting 84 project submissions from countries including Ukraine, Greece, Uzbekistan, and Russia. Of these, 20 projects reached the final stage, and seven winners were selected, one for each category and nomination.
Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to international and local jury members for their role in evaluating projects, as well as to the finalists for their innovative initiatives and social impact. Additionally, the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity received a Certificate of Appreciation on its fifth anniversary.
The ceremony concluded with performances by the Centre’s trainers and beneficiaries.
