Wheat Shipment to Armenia Transits Through Azerbaijan


Baku: Another shipment of wheat from Russia to Armenia is being carried out via transit through Azerbaijan, APA reports. The shipment consists of 350 tons of wheat, transported in five railcars, which were dispatched from Bilajari station toward the Boyuk Kesik direction on April 24.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, more than 24,000 tons of grain, over 1,600 tons of fertilizer, and 68 tons of buckwheat have been transported from Russia to Armenia via transit through Azerbaijan so far. This ongoing transit arrangement highlights the cooperation in logistics and transportation between these nations.



Additionally, in a similar arrangement, exports of petroleum products from Azerbaijan to Armenia are ongoing. To date, more than 8,500 tons of diesel fuel, 979 tons of AI-92 gasoline, and 2,955 tons of AI-95 gasoline have been exported from Azerbaijan to Armenia, underscoring the significant trade relations in energy products between the two countries.
