Fuzuli: The opening ceremony for Nursery-Kindergarten No. 1 was held in the newly liberated and reconstructed city of Fuzuli. The event, which commenced with the performance of the National Anthem, marked a significant milestone in the city’s redevelopment efforts.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the ceremony was attended by notable figures including the Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, and Emin Huseynov, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts. Joining them were Vahid Alekperov, founder of the ‘Lukoil’ oil company, and Rasim Amraliyev, General Director of ‘Lukoil Azerbaijan’, along with residents of Fuzuli city.
The newly constructed nursery-kindergarten, built with the support of Lukoil, is a two-storey facility capable of accommodating 240 children. Situated on a 2.4-hectare plot, the building is equipped with group, administrative, and sleeping rooms, as well as dance, sports, and music halls. Additional amenities include a swimming pool, changing rooms, a kitchen, and a methodology room outfitted with modern equipment, alongside a computer room, doctor’s room, disinfection room, isolation ward, and laundry facilities.
Furthermore, the kindergarten features a primary vegetable processing unit, sections for vegetables, meat, and fish, a dry food storage area, a dining hall for staff, as well as electrical and server rooms. The yard is equipped with playgrounds and other essential infrastructure to ensure children can learn, play, and relax in a comfortable and stimulating environment.
During the event, Emin Huseynov provided guests with an overview of ongoing projects in Fuzuli, highlighting the concerted efforts to rebuild the city and improve the quality of life for its residents.
